| Internship Program Course Content |
At New Zealand College, we offer unpaid work placements in New Zealand companies for qualified candidates in the areas of Marketing, IT, Tourism, Accounting, Film Production, Engineering, and a host of other fields.
To be eligible for our internships, a candidate must have a relevant qualification (or be working towards one), and good English language skills. All of our internships are unpaid, but some provide the opportunity to move into a paid position upon completion.
Our intern standards are high – these are not projects that are undertaken while looking for paid work! They are stand-alone placements that give candidates a greatly enhanced resume by allowing them to work within organizations that appreciate what our candidates can bring to the job, and who want to contribute to their career by giving them a ‘start’ in the business world. Our companies carefully monitor and mentor our interns, so that the internship experience is beneficial to both sides.
The companies that have hosted our interns in the last year have included Siemens, Bank of New Zealand, Silverscreen Productions, Auckland Zoo, and numerous others, both big and small.

Here at NZC we provide NZ companies with university students/graduates for UNPAID work placements of between 3-6 months. These students are highly educated and normally in the final year (or Masters) of their studies. These students often require a work placement as part of their studies, and an experience in the NZ business environment is highly valued.
We have interns working across Auckland, across a range of companies (including Siemens, Bank of New Zealand, Silverscreen Productions, Salesforce, Auckland Zoo, and numerous others). These students look after all of their own accommodation, travel, and other expenses. As well, we arrange all visas, and workplace insurance is also paid by them. There is therefore no financial or administrative cost to your company. These candidates have good English skills, are extremely motivated and enthusiastic. Most have already done internships in overseas companies and therefore do not need special treatment in terms of extra training. They are workplace ready!
We have a constant stream of applicants wanting to come to NZ, whose skills cover a wide range of business areas - Human Resources, Accounting, Marketing, IT, etc. Perhaps you would be interested in having one of these interns contribute to your company?
